Selectmen  – responsible for the executive functions of the Town.

Board of Assessment Review – holds the authority to hear property assessment appeals.

Budget Committee – tasked with preparing a proposed budget for approval at Town Meeting.

Comprehensive Plan Committee – established to deliver an updated Comprehensive Plan.

GMFR Lyman/Dayton Fire Commission – oversees the two town’s fire/rescue matters including funding.

Ordinance Review Committee – responsible for reviewing and amending Town ordinances to serve Lyman citizens.

Parks & Recreation Committee – helps organize and foster civic and social events and programs in the Town.

Planning Board – applies the directives of the Comp Plan, Zoning Ordinance, and Shoreland Zoning Ordinance.

Zoning Board of Appeals  – holds the authority to hear appeals of the Code Enforcement Officer’s decisions regarding zoning.
