August Programs

STEM/MakerSpace Program:  Science Technology, Engineering and Math Program

Teacher:  Charlie Cianciolo “Mr.C” Ages 6-11

Dates 8/16-Jedi light sabers and 8/23-Tower Design Challenge

Time – 5:30-7:30pm York County Fish and Game, Lyman

 Cost is $5.00 for Lyman Residents and $10.00 for non-residents.  Parents are asked to stay during program.

 mats and props will be supplied

Stand Up Paddle Boarding Lessons for Kids and Adults

 Learn to Paddle Board

Tuesday August 14th at 5:30pm  Kennebunk Pond Public Beach, Lyman

Cost is $25 per person, ages are 8 and up. Aquaholics from Kennebunk will bring boards and all necessary gear needed.

Strawberry Banke Living Museum for Seniors

Tuesday August 21st

Depart 8:45am from Waterboro Town Hall

Return at 2:30pm

Hop aboard a luxury bus on August 21 and experience living history at Strawberry Bank Museum in Portsmouth, NH.  Pack your own lunch or dine at their Figtree Kitchen Café.

Cost is $42 and includes transportation and entry into the museum.

Cabbage Island Lobster/Clam Bake for Seniors

Tuesday, August 28th

Depart at 10:00am from Waterboro Town Hall

Return at 6:15pm

Join us for an afternoon at Cabbage Island Clambakes! We will board our luxury bus and head to Boothbay Harbor.  Your Clambake begins with a scenic tour of Boothbay Harbor aboard the Bennie Alice, en route to Cabbage Island in Linekin BayThe authentic meal includes a steaming cup of traditional New England Fish Chowder, two luscious bright red lobsters, tender white steamed clams wrapped in foil, sweet golden corn on the cob, onion and new Maine potatoes.  An oven roasted half chicken is a tasty option for those who do not enjoy lobsters.  For dessert, you will love their famous Blueberry Cake with hot fresh coffee or iced tea.

Cost:  $96 per person
